      Statement of Need: This activity is designed to provide radiologists and others interested in radiology with a regular overview of the most current, clinically useful information available from the leading modality experts in the field. It is designed to expand upon, reinforce and give additional perspective to the participant's own review of current topics in radiology.

      Intended Audience: Radiologists and others interested in imaging and diagnostic radiology.

      Special Prerequisites for Participants: There are no prerequisites for participants.

      Learning Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, the participant should be able to:

      • Demonstrate knowledge of the most current principles of various imaging modalities.
      • Explain the strengths and weaknesses of various imaging modalities.
      • Demonstrate a working familiarity with the most important information and perspectives presented, and generally should be able to apply in practice the information supplied.

      Accreditation Statement: The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

      Credit Designation Per Issue: The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates this educational activity for a maximum of 3.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

      This activity is also eligible for 3.0 credit hours per issue in Category 2-B of the Continuing Education Program of the American Osteopathic Association, provided it is completed in its entirety.
